Neuromodulators/Neurotoxin - AKA “Tox”

Tox—commonly known by brand names such as Dysport® and Xeomin®—are injectable treatments that temporarily relax specific facial muscles to smooth out expression lines and prevent new wrinkles from forming. They work by gently blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle movement, allowing the overlying skin to appear smoother and more refreshed.

Tox is most often used to treat:

• Frown lines between the eyebrows (the “11s”)

• Forehead lines caused by repeated expressions

• Crow’s feet around the eyes

• Bunny lines on the nose

• Neck bands and other areas of dynamic movement

Results typically begin to appear within 3 to 7 days and last around 3 to 4 months, depending on the treatment area and individual response. When performed by an experienced injector, tox treatments deliver natural, balanced results—softening lines without freezing your facial expressions.

Xeomin, $12 per unit

Dysport, $4 per unit

Lip Flip | 10 units or less, $150

**Please note that Dysport® and Xeomin® are distinct formulations of botulinum toxin type A and are reconstituted differently. Because of this difference Dysport typically requires a higher number of units than Xeomin and therefore is priced less per unit.
